LOOM

What it is: Simply put, Loom is a video messaging platform that makes communication easier. It allows you to do things like send a client a quick video message, provide context about a prescription you have given them, or screen share a movement breakdown. LOOM also allows you to edit videos, share links, and provide emoji reactions and comments.

How the Coach Can Use It

Send feedback: You can use LOOM to send personalized video comments or feedback on your clients exercise and nutrition prescriptions, making the experience feel more personal to the client than a written comment might. 

Replace Long Texts: While using the text messaging tool in CoachRx can be useful for certain things, if you’re on your phone and don’t feel like typing out a long, convoluted message, you can easily record a quick video with LOOM instead. 

In the Calendar: You can also use LOOM to send a video in the coaches notes section of the client’s calendar (where they view their training plan each day). If you find your notes get a little too lengthy, sometimes it’s easier to provide context via a quick 45-second video instead of a four paragraph comment. All you have to do is click the video icon and record a quick video, and then send it through the coaches notes.

Note: The LOOM integration is currently available for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers, but not for Safari and Firefox, but it’s pretty quick to add or switch browsers if you want to start using LOOM to save you time and create a more personalized experience for your clients.

Stripe

What it is: Stripe is a payment processing platform that allows you to accept credit cards, debit cards and other popular payment methods. It also allows you to access important business metrics and do payroll.
